Ok, this is my last post of film from that particular roll. I promise.
I'm rationing this next roll, so hopefully I'll have lot's of different things on it rather than photos from one day.
Finally bought a new urban originals handbag today! I've needed one like it quite some time now
so I'm very happy, despite the damage to my funds.
so I'm very happy, despite the damage to my funds.
It has everything I needed:
- Big enough to fit my digital and film SLRs
- Black so it goes with everything
- Studded to add some character
- Many compartments so phone, iPod, keys and makeup are easy to find
- ZIPS UP SO THINGS ARE SAFE.
1. Choose some fabric that you know she'll love, fold it with the pattern on the inside & iron, draw your love heart or whichever shape you'd like your pillow to be.
2. Carefully cut, leaving an edge around the outside of your shape, approx. 1cm wide.
3. Place the 2 pieces of fabric back to back with the pattern on the inside and pin it in place before sewing along your drawn line, leaving a gap between the end of the stitch and the beginning.
4. Turn the shape inside out by pulling the fabric through the gap, transforming it into the shape you have drawn, with the pattern of the fabric now on the outside.
5. Use something soft to stuff your pillow. I have used cotton balls for my pillow and have torn them up to make it easier to make even and less bulky.
6. Fold in your gap & use a simple stitch to close it off. Make sure to use plenty of stuffing before doing this.
7. Add your own personal touch; I have used 2 butterfly clips and added a little perfume.
8. Give your mum a Happy Mothers Day!
