Last Saturday night was Joanna and Paolo's 17th birthday, costume party. Many costumes were involved including a french maid, Wally of 'Where's Wally?', A rabbi, the Mad Hatter, tribal women, The Wiggles, A devil, construction workers, a Goddess, sailors, a nerd, fairies etc. and myself as Lady Gaga feat. in Photo #2 (taken by eliza). All other photos were taken by me.
I think the photos look better on my flickr.
Today was a sad day. I found out that My Chemical Romance are no longer touring to Australia for Soundwave 2010. This is big news. They are the main reason I was determined to go, bought my ticket a few hours after they were released, squealed about it, jumped around and couldn't unclench my fists for hours because of the excitement. Thankfully their place was filled by Jimmy Eat World who I am also fond of but they really don't compare to my love for MCR. I would have been breathing the same air as Gerard & Mikey Way, Frank Iero, Bob Bryar and Ray Toro. I will probably end up crying myself to sleep tonight but at the moment my brain hasn't registered the damage.

I'd like to take this post to show you some of my favourite photos by Lina Scheynius. I strongly advise you have a look at her work, there's something about her photos that I really love although I suggest her flickr. for more censored content.
Have a lovely day.
and p.s, watch this:

I'm finding myself consumed by art these days; anything visually interesting.
It's all I can think about, it's all I look at, it's all I do.
If only I were more capable in the field of drawing, I'd have a better chance at fulfilling the visions I see that aren't photos.
It would really make things so simpler.
I really want to expand my photography but the restrictions are killing me;
time, money, location, transport, subject, lenses.
watch these, they're great:

So today began the first official week of year 12. I'm actually liking it so far. Classes are good, we have more freedom and today I was home by 1pm.
I love this so much:
